Maybe there is more than one person in the UK called GLOC and this refers to them?

Sorry, should have added that i think someone made it knowing you would be going to this puddle at some point, maybe expecting you to be there at a certain date, to find it and you let them down

So were you due at this location about the time it appeared?

Also why melt it down? They have put holes in it so you can tie it to the back of your twinset

As one of the most helpful, supportive and genuine GUE and YD divers I know, anybody that thinks of this clearly doesn't know you very well.

I would ignore it and use the lead - it will make a very nice p weight to offset the extra buoyancy of the new santi won't it.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Personally Gareth I'd be flattered as someone has gone to a lot of time and effort to make that, so whether it's a friend or foe at least you've inspired them to be creative

I'd keep it as a memento, and not bother about the who or why, because if it is malicious you're playing into their hands.

Safe diving,
Steve

P.S. you don't suffer from Munchausen's syndrome by proxy do you

Having seen this 'in the metal' today (again ); I can vouch for the craftsmanship. It's a really good chunk of lead and the lettering is very nicely done.

Personally, I'd be mounting it on the wall in my garage if someone had made one saying 'Nick is a prick' rather than melting it down. Seems a shame to destroy it

FWIW, I'm convinced it was just done as a bit of a wind-up, without any real malice.

I reckon we should start a sweepstake going to name the culprit.

Yes, but the plaque you boys gave Garf last year in Scapa was much nicer that this and he has that on his shed. Besides, the only shed I have is the one I build from Stella tins and I doubt that will survive the 3.5kg of lead balancing on it

As I said, not that bothered either way. Just don't like to think that I have pissed someone off. I may have done now as I have their lead

Everyone, thanks for the support. I notice that Howard still hasn't posted (even though he is online at the moment), so it must have been him. He's a witch, burn him
