| Why Am I a Cock? I went to NDAC today looking for something which others have told me about but I had yet to see. It appears that it was a new attractation attached to the Devon aircraft in 24m. There was some craftmanship involved and it must have taken some time to put it together, so I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. Well here it is. ![]() ![]() This thing weighs in at 3.5kg, which meant that when it was removed it was a little difficult to carry around NDAC but I wanted to bring it home as I believed that as it refers to me (in a derogatory way), I have a right to have it. Besides, I need a little lead to melt down to make a P- or V- weight. Now, if this was a joke, fine, I am the first to laugh at myself and my mates; that is how life moves on. When I first heard about it, I thought it was Howard Jnr as this is the sick sort of thing that he would get up to. However, I questioned both Howard and Garf (as he was the second contender!) and they denied it and I believed them. However, normally a joke has a punchline and as Garf said when I chatted to him about this; if it had been either he or Howard, they would have put it in place, not told me and then took me on a dive so that I could see it, just to see my face!! However, if this is a personal attack on me, again fine, but I would like to know what I have done to deserve this as the plaque has been there for some time now (several months) and that means plenty of people have seen it. If someone knows the background behind this but doesn't want to name the individual, can they please let me know so that I can reply and they can pass it back onto the individual concerned. I am a little disappointed that someone would go to the effort of making something like because I genuinely don't think I have done anything to deserve it. If so, please let me know and I will try and rectify the issue and make sure I don't piss anyone else off! However, at least this wasn't as bad as scribbling Chasey's name in the mud in a cave in the US and blaming him for the 'vandalism'!! Regards

| That certainly is odd. Perhaps the other half was missing? ESTERSHIRE FARMER OF ERELS All sounds a bit odd to me but to go to so much effore they seem to have a grudge about something?!?!?

| Strange indeed.................... I think the person involved should publicly own up. If that sort of craftmanship is going into something like this imagine the quality of P + V weights After an apology etc,etc |

| Almost certainly unrelated but "ADAM IS A COCK" was written on the deep helicopter, shallow helicopter and the 10m cabin cruiser (written in the mud as opposed to pen). On the bright side, with lead there looking to be about £8/kg you managed to acquire something worth a bit of money.

| I was trying to see if they slipped while making a plaque boasting about Gloc's 15" penis. But it seems not. Bit off really and slightly elitist popping it in at NDAC only or has anyone else seen similar plaques at other inland sights I wonder? |

| I thought this was going to be a poll? Maybe whoever did it knew you would see it sooner or later. Tis odd to go to all that work and not brag about it.

| Well it was not me, 'cos as you well know i don't dive in puddles That does look a lot like some church roof lead, and i know someone who probably has some of that in his Pikey garage But i doubt he could match the craftsmanship of that item Doesn't Chasey spend a lot of time on roofs as well?

| Mixed thoughts on this one. Even if it's a genuine insult, I'd personally feel very good that someone's gone to such effort to insult you! That's craftmanship, that is, and they obviously think enough of you to make a lead plaque! See that as a compliment that you made such an impression! How many other people do you know would insult you with such effort??? And if you're really curious have you asked the guys at the site?
