Totally agree with you Mal
I went caving in the Yorkshire dales once.
Paid the entry fee..
Walked in and along, the electric lights enabled us to clearly see the sticky up rocks and the sticky down rocks too!
Got my shoe wet in a puddle...
Had a nice cup of tea in the cafe afterwards.

Can't see why they make it out to be so 'ard!

Indeed. I've never quite understood why the CDG make such a big thing about Wookey Hole - I've been through it via the gift shop on many occasions and it was hardly challenging!!
