Ah, to be fair, that cost is a single dive to 60m using 16s, 50% and 100%. Using 12s remixed and using a bottom stage would bring the cost of subsequent dives down.

Gas isn't the major issue though if you look at the cost of a day out. However, if you get to the bottom and all there is a pile of rocks then it is

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Hi Steve.

If you arrange any deepies further east i.e. Portsmouth,l'm sure you'd get a few more interested.

right, i've had a few PM's asking me what the plans are for next year. There are a couple, but this is the one i want to nail:

I'm not revealing the name or position yet, but to give you an idea, look at the width of Lyme bay and extend that down to France and you'll get the idea. Lloyds give a position, which i believe is incorrect, but the U boat report (KTB) gives a position 35-40 miles from the Lloyds position. There is a mark that seems to fit the size of this vessel, and is the one i'm going for....Now tell me who who is willing to pay £60 odd to dive it ?!? There';s enough clues to be getting on with

That's why we do as much research as possible beforehand and get the hydro reports (like the examples i've sent you in the past) and then make a calculated guess on whether or not it's worth the risk.......

60-65m on the chart for this one.. . . If you're happy doing 50 odd, then there really isn't much difference in the figures. I don't plan so much on depth nowadays. I plan a dive on runtime only 'cos i get bored to hell and cold on deco. . .

i'm happy doing up to 50 (prefer no deeper than 45 ish really) on air after that i get kind of silly before a debate starts i'm qualified to 55 on air SAA/CMAS so a little out of my depth a the moment but i'm hoping to rectify this with courses in the future.

Sounds like nature's way of telling you to leave it well alone.
