He did this because he said in words to this effect: 'Get it all on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the track of history some b*stard will get up and say that this never happened'

This week, the UK removed The Holocaust from its school curriculum because it 'offended' the Muslim population which claims it never occurred.

This is a frightening portent of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is giving in to it.

I don't read the mail so can't comment on the story but last year my kids went on trips to Beth Shalom and France and Belgium battlefields, they listened to talks given by camp survivors on both. Also they have recently done work toward their History GCSE on the Holocaust.

The Daily Mail comment was a joke. This is one of those "send to everyone" emails and I just wondered if it was a scam or true.

i get really annoyed by these send to everyone emails, like the thoughts for so and so and heres how to sort out the high price of fuel. I tend to delete them straight off.

I used to get lots of hoax emails but, once I'd done a quick bit of research, I started hitting "reply all" with a message about how only a moron could propagate such bollocks without checking its veracity.

I no longer get these emails.

I agree and I usually check them first but my first Google search came up with nothing (poorly worded search criteria ).

In this particular case:-

1. It is a subject that should never be allowed to be forgotten.
2. I am aware that there are some around the world that deny it ever happened.
3. It had the desired affect and had me sitting up with fists raised ready to go punch someone.

Anyway, I had the sense to check on here first but my misleading Daily Mail comment got misunderstood and then I reworded my Google search and, basically, "what a waste of time"!

I received the same email a few weeks ago, & to be honest, I'm pretty gullible, so I did think there maybe some truth in it. I know that we live in a changing world & there was a line in the email that said something like "the Holocaust was being removed as it offended some people". But as I said I am gullible & thought it maybe true.

I am glad I have read this thread, as although I found the pictures very disturbing, it serves as a reminder to us all of the atrocities that groups of people have afflicted on others.

However this made me chuckle, keep up the good work!
