| This sort of thing is very high on my agenda at the moment as I am writing my thesis and am therefore in theory thinking about every word - te he! I have to say I still do not really understand the difference between the hundreds of verb clauses and many other things referred to in Gavin's first post in this thread. Thankfully my boss does and therefore the corrected version returns to me rather different from the original. However, one thing that really gets to me is the use of "your" as a shortened version of you are. It is often used at the beginning of a post which makes it even worse!! The other thing of course is the use of text language in a written sentence. I am not perfect, but I thought I would share my grievences. Paul Paul
