I've not looked your particular model, but when I was looking at alternate guages
(and a HUD) for my Kiss, they came a close second.
It looks really solid.

There is also the DeltaP/Jetsam offering which may fit your bill, it may be worth talking to Delta P to see if they are making adaptors/connectors for other RBs.
Personally if I'd invested the time and money on a system like that I'd make it fit as many RBs as possible.

Finally, for various reasons, I went for the Shearwater, which I believe would be a viable option for you (given my lack of familliarity with your RB, of course )

Bruce is a great guy to deal with, and will always answer numpty questions - I should know

Looks like a nice bit of kit. I'm assuming you're talking about getting the p-port system with block. Will the oxyscans fit on the connectors on the block?
Reading the description, it looks like the connectors on the block are linked to all 3 sensors??

"Instead of a VR3 you can also use a second DS-1 Digital Display for redundancy of all three sensors"

I myself like the Shearwater computer and have just ordered a HUD - however, I think that is way more expensive than this system and probably not necessary if you already have a VR2.

If you want a Shearwater, Bruce is very helpful. He can probably make you any kind of connector you like - just send him an email and ask Shearwater Research Inc. - Computers for Diving

When you first add the cells, write a number on the cell corresponding to where it is in the display. Therefore when one cell goes, you know which one it is.

Yep, on RBW he and Beanie were having discussions about a p-port adapter (whatever THAT is, us KISSers have kidneys ) that might suit you.

Question

Sorry to Hijak the thread but:

Paul, I was looking at the Shearwater and Kidney yesterday on his site and I see two of the ports on the kidney are unused. How does the two sensors under these two ports connect to the one cable? Has the kidney been modified to link all three holes to the cells together?

I was toying with the idea of floggin off the VR3 to help pay for a Shearwater and kidney, though I would like the separates so I could sive the shearwater separately like Jo does on OC.
