Submatix 100ST Semi Closed Rebreather

Hi Guys,
Anybody diving this semi closed and just wondered how they find it, as looking at in the future maybe going onto one. Most of my diving is 30m range and maybe like the idea of ditching the twin set and moving to this system. Opinions would be good.
Cheers Lee

moose,

Luddite dives an SCR so best ask him about SCR pros and cons, but i wonder for the depth of 30M that you state if the mCCR might not be an option.

one of my subby buddies has taken his SCR to st abbs recently and thoroughly enjoyed the diving as did his subby!!!

why not think about a try dive with both units and then have a chat with the instructor? nothing ventured, nothing gained!

lesley.

Hi

I am diving with the SRC Subby and love it more and more after each dive. It simple to set up and easy to dive in. The SCR can be taken to 40m that using the 32% jet and gives a ppO2 of 1.6 which for my book is a little close to the knuckle. But at 33m the 32% jet give a ppO2 of 1.4, lovely. The unit can be later upgrade to a kiss style or full electronic CSR. Feel free to ask anything
