Hi Nick, sadly I have to do non-diving stuff on Sunday. However, the next time I'm in the area I'll get in touch,
Cheers
Ian

Thumbs up It was cold...

Grand total of 1:01 over 3 dives (doing BSAC DL training & assessments)

Computer lied by saying the water was 7C - I'm sure it was a lot colder - perhaps the fact that the VR£ decided that the battery was low (2.0v) affected its assessment of the water temperature - either that or it sulked when taken into cold water

Unit was great - made sure there was a good (i.e. lengthy) pre-breathe to get the scrubber working

Repairs to DUI suit seemed to have worked and the Weasel booties kept my toes toastie - just need Weasel to make gloves

I'm at Capernwray tomorrow with the Submatix. The last time I was there in early January (on a Dolphin/Kiss) it was 6deg but felt quite warm. Should be cooler tomorrow.

Mind you, in January there were more divers in the Cafe than in the water...

HI,
I dived stoney on that Sunday my VR was reading 6dec.
50/55 mins in the water yes it was very cold. Hopefully
the rescue boat will start as it was called for three times
& very slow to start, on two occasions, not good if you need
it in a emergency.
Andy
