I agree. Digger is indeed psycho diver when it comes to bizarre kit. On the first dive I did with him he was using side-slung cylinders 'because they had a fill and it was easy!'

Mark.

I thought we had to sacrifice a Virgin, so Diggers out.

Dave take those motors off the boat and stick em in a car then go Hill climbing.

Kite surfing kit is way smaller than windsurfing kit but costs about the same Looks like it might be easier than windsurfing, but probably less takers if you're hiring them. I'll be taking my kit on every dive trip, just in case!

Talking

An enterprising idea young man.

To get an incling if it would take off, just visualise your last few dive parties and decide whether you recon they would go for it if blown out?

I can windsurf, not very well admitedly, but have all the kit and never use it. I would not recon a windy UK, too rough for diving, is the best place to try to learn it? It's hard enough when calm. As for the kit, the impacts you get falling off can be substantial, and dry suit seals would not withstand much of this, basicaly it's a different suit and a sports life preserver you need.

10 out of 10 for having a go though, have you considered buying a pub?

James

I cant get my fins through those loopy things on the boards. And I have to take sh&t loads of weights to get down with one of them. Me thinks I never get in to it.
