Buy a dozen windsurfers
When its to windy for diving - dont cancel!
just rent out the boards to all the divers

what do you recon the chances of this taking off are?

Dunno but my other half is a windsufing instructor...........

Major problem with windsurfing in a drysuit is that your inflator valve catches on the board when you try to climb back on.

Kite surfing - now THAT is a good idea.

I did learn to windsurf and buy a windsurfer many years ago with just this in mind. Only ever used it a handful of times as it was too much hassles to take both sets of kit.

We have a cupboard that is bulging with:

Diving gear, caving gear, kayaking gear, canoeing gear, climbing gear, windsurfing gear, Sailing gear, coastguard gear and kite surfing gear.

Its like a japanese puzzle where it all has to go in a certain way or the door wont shut.

You either need a bigger cupboard or a spare room to throw it all in. I have a spare room but this also gets used as my workshop so ends up covered in sawdust. Thus I moved all my diving gear into the house. Now that room is filling up with gear....I will have to spread to under the stairs.
