Skiving off work

This morning I did the ultimate, I went diving instead of work. But WHY WHY WHY is the fact whenever the weather is great topside the viz and conditions below are bad. Went down to 28m and viz was 2m with quite a swell. Back on surface sea was fine and quite calm - how annoying.
Worse still we currently having a heat wave - it's 34ºc outside! and I cooked and boiled in the dry suit whilst on the RIB, water though was a fresh 12ºc, quite a thermal shock
Still as they say - a bad dive is better than a good days work

Ah but if you are in an office, here is how to skive:

Empty your paperclips onto the floor
Lie down with your feet against the door and have a nice kip
If someone tries to open the door, it will bang against your feet, waking you up.
Pretend to be picking up the paper clips.


Not as exciting as diving I'll grant you...

you could do that woz or just spend all day talking to people on msn.

This works very well if you work with someone who is a half-wit so no matter how little work you do your boss still thinks you are a genius (or maybe it is because I am a genius).
Oh well back to talking to woz.
