Wink OK, this is me

A slightly blurred picture, but looks like me even if you have poor eye sight and arn't wearing your glasses.

So now I move on to the personal profiles, why are some YDers shy of putting some info about themselves.

Are they nervous that they will be found out in one way or another, or is it vanity.

Or may they are not what they say, eg a CEO of sumat big, when really they are the leading light in a drive-in car wash.

And age is relative to the year you were born in, so who cares if some people are younger or older than you.

I suppose if you poke around with a stick for awhile, you're bound to get a reaction.

I dunno - i havent got any pictures of me anymore (pooter went pop and i lost everything). Im not the prettiest thing to look at, and therefore not very photogenic. There is one knocking about of me in a gear wash tub. And i think jules had one of me driving the boat in mull.
Anyway, if i was a bloke i would look just like my avatar.....

Chris

I have noticed lately that a lot of the new boys and girls on the block aren't putting any details in their profile. It makes it hard to make them feel welcome when there is nothing to go on regarding where they live, how much diving they have done , what their other hobbies are etc.

I often check peoples profiles to find , well .. nothing. Give us a clue!

Yes we all know what you're looking for Ms Clark, but I'm afraid Pitt, Clooney etc etc don't frequent YD so you're stuck with a bunch of blokes not wanting to scare anyone with their mugshots

Right thats it then i am missing out on too much not making some of these gigs.

More YD gigs for me next year.

Oh and i lost my Avtar in the great crash, i need someone clever to resize the pic and post it somewhere like Seadart Bob did so i can add it. I'm not clever enouggh to find one of these clever one's.

But yes i totally agree with Chris's point - Come out of the shadows into the light.

By the way i think Dive Dude's London Pride label is a lot easier on the eye than his old avtar.

Dive Safe
