| Can't quite believe it but i'm off to St Lucia on Sunday for 3 weeks!!! It all started out as a bit of a joke - my boss is heading off to St Lucia with his family to cruise around the islands as he does about twice a year. Anyhoo...the girl that was supposed to go as their cook has let them down so my colleague jokingly suggested I could do it...It went a little something like this... Boss "our cook has let us down and we leave on Friday - yikes" Colleague "Sue could do it - she likes boats and she dives" Boss "Can you cook?" Me "yes. Is there room for my dive gear?" Boss "we'll pay for your flight and pay your wage and treat you as one of the family, after we leave you can stay on for a few days if you like" Me "Cool - but is there room for my dive gear?" Boss " Yes, there's plenty of room" Me "Count me in then!" Yee ha! Cripes - I guess i'd better brush up on a few recipes, i don't think beans on toast will quite cut it (they're no chavs). |

| Well done, more Jam than Hartleys. Could i suggest that as you are still being paid you could sub let those cooking duties to a suitable local and spend even more time diving? Just tell them they are having a St Lucia theme night every day The lengths some divers have to go just to get some diving in.

| Well-in Suzanne! Take 'em where you can get 'em! Never been myself, but if it's paid for and they let you dive - hey, 'go girl'! Please don't forget the trip report (everything plus the diving!)

| You will love the Diving, a couple of dives to try and do are Supermans flight and the wall dive below the Pittons, both are fantastic, as are most dives in Anse chasnet. Keep an eye out for sea horses saw about 10 of them when I dived out there. got some great pics.

| You lucky girl, you! You CAN cook, right? Mind you, I've jsut been to a "luxury" hotel and THEY couldn't cook, so I suppose it's all relative. Have you cooked on a boat before? Quite a challenge I imagine, pots sliding around everywhere. Good luck and enjoy!
