a little corner of yorkshire in norfolk?

well, i've finally got myself a permanent job - hurrah! it's with the british trust for ornithology (that's birds to the uninitiated), in thetford, norfolk.

so i'm going to be moving there in the next couple of weeks, and was wondering if there are any YDers in that area? i'm thinking of going along to see the thetford BSAC club, anyone know about them?

cheers, kate

p.s. bren - my tag's line's so out of date now. sort it out please!

Thumbs up Hello good evening and welcome

Hi kate from what I know of Thetford they have an active dive seen but Ewan if you can find him on here will tell you more, however your not far from us in Kings lynn if you want to see some freindly YD faces. Youll find in our club Jason, Amy, Ewan, Mike Haradine and of course myself all of YD.
So if you need any help just give us a call.

Louigi.

cheers for that louigi, however since i am sans car, king's lyn might be a bit beyond me... good to know thetford have an active club - do you know if they do much training? i haven't got to do as much classroom and pool training as i'd like since my IFC, so i'm hoping to get involved in that side of things.

Nice one Kate. Glad you got the job. Did you wear a low cut top at the interview?
