Andark

Andark are just down the road in Lower Swanwick...

Just don't buy gear there as they are very expensive, other than that air fills are cheap and easy to obtain.

Lightbulb Dive shop

Hi Dan,

There are three in Portsmouth, the nearest to Horsea (apart from the small shop on site run by Andark) is:

The Dive Connection
http://www.tdc-dive.co.uk/ , Unit 2, Fairways Business Centre, Airport Service Road. (023)92698700

Or my dive club/shop Triton Scuba :
http://tritonscuba.co.uk , 147 Highland Road, Southsea, Hampshire, PO4 9EY. (023) 92838773

Or Solent Divers :
122-128 Lake Road, Portsmouth, PO1 4HH. (023)92814924

Thumbs up Horsea

No problem Dan,

They do air fills at Horsea itself, but I can't vouch for how clean they are, and you certainly won't get more than about 190 bar or so (at least I never have!)

Safe diving,

Steve

You might want to check whether Solent Divers compressor is safe for Nitrox cylinders.

Southern Cylinder Services (Fareham) pump clean air and Nitrox but they have odd opening hours.

It's a military base so they can't pump more than 200 bar + it is NOT O2
clean.

Average is over 190. Although 40 less doesnt seem much, that's the
difference between 1 or 2 dives on the same cylinder.
