It was 'harvested' from that particular page (ie a computer has trawled countless online pages and found every email address that is included in the source code. Your email address is hidden in that particular page's coding (because Divernet give the facility to click on a user's name to email them directly). Happily, YD use a slightly more sophisticated software package and no personal email addresses appear on any YD page.

     Does that mean I can use my proper OE address for YD and it won't get harvested or am I better just sticking with the Yahoo jobby?

You use OE ? Are you mad most e-mail pathogens are targetted to OE
Personally I won't use MS progs if I can get away with some other manufacturers product.

I have genuinly never had one bit of spam through OE except what NTL send out once a month or so. I do get 500-600 a day through my Yahoo though.
