Hmmmmmmmm.... Friday's starting to sound mighty interesting, good friends, good beer and a curry... no early start for long travel Saturday morning... Hmmmmmmmmm..... let me work on this.... :thinking:

Finished reading the manual which Andy sent to me last week - got the theory kinda sorted and been practicing planning dives etc.  The math didn't seem too difficult until you try using it - its bloody easy to get your knickers in a twist and need a quick sit down but persevere and you're away - I think!

Problem now is that I'm raring to go and I still have to wait almost two weeks until the course.  Ho hum, that's the way it goes.

Looking forward to meeting up with all you guys.

BTW anybody got their accomodation sorted yet?  Whose up for the Friday beer and curry?

Awww...is the curry going to be on the friday ?
I was planning (probably) to travel direct to Hodge on the Saturday morning. I've got the list of accommodations but haven't booked anything yet as was wanting to find the closest place to Andy's (for socialising purposes).

What's the deal with the night dive? I was thinking it might not happen as there is the issue of tank filling to think of, mind I've got a spare single 12L I could bring for that purpose.

Me and Fi are already booked into the Dalesman for Fri and Sat ... I'm gonna have a day off work so we should be there for seven-ish.

Me and our kid are turning up on the Friday, not sure about the curry though as finances might just allow me to bring a sarnie or two.... all say awwwwwwww.....

I'm expecting delivery of the Advanced book anyday now but according to 2tanx its full of maths.... I'm shoite at maths.... now I know why you need a buddy... it's to cut your tables for ya ;)

BTW, I'm over Andys next Sunday getting a new harness cut and Ammers twins setup for me, anyone fancying a dip in the cape or anywhere else for that matter, just so I can test out me new rig dontcha know  :biggrin:

Nest task is too find a local curry house - or picinc spot for Davey!  Never mind Dave we can always bring out some pop and popadum's - BUT ONLY IF YOU STAY IN THE CAR!  Ah, to be treated like children again...

Far be it for me to buck the trend so I'll be calling The Dalesman tonight to see if there's space available   :baaa: :baaa: Not sure about being there on the friday as there is meant to be a works do on, as its to celebrate several occasions, one of which is the fact that I'm leaving :dance:   :luxhello: :cheering: I kinda feel obliged to be there, (been trying to get it moved to another night)

I'll sleep in the Green Maggot again either dans la voiture or sur le shelf du chien. Now that Davey's kindly showed me how to work the reclining seats in mi Landie, I know it to be comfy....and after a night getting four parts Susan, and being wont to snoring on an Olympian scale, the Landie it is.

Sherry and curry farts of my own I can take. Others in the mix at the Dalesman will make for a pretty heady brew. Apart from that, Davey doesn't put out on a 1st date, so I'm banjaxed.

Friday night it is then. And yay, we didst rock the hamlet of Sedbergh! It's not the Kray Twins (Mark and Davey) that concern me, it's when Drifty starts getting all punchy after a sherry we've got to be careful of.

Let the games commence........
