FAO any of you guys who knows Andy H and his set-up:

I'm guessing Andy does his own Nitrox fills from his setup? I bought a nitrox clean 7L stage last week but haven't had time to get it filled yet (thought they could've put a nitrox 32 in just as standard   ). Also need a a set of stage staps for it, does he sell the little bits of kit like that or just the big stuff?

Anyone know what depth and dive times we'll be doing on Saturday - I've got 170 bar in twin 10s and wondered if a top up was crucial or not.

And lastly, can you tell I don't really like giving my custom to my LDS's ?

Steve

Andy can most probably give you the mix that you want as he's filling everyones cylinders but it will all depend on just how much oxygen he has at his gaff.

As far as the straps are concerned, selling you the parts may be difficult as I'm not sure whether he'll have them in stock, but this is a guy who has many a cylinder about his person, both stage and deco and so he may be able to lend you the necessary for the weekend but please don't rely on it.

I believe on Saturday it's two dives in Hodge, max depth 30m and Sunday it's two dives in Wast, obviously max depth there will depend on your mix... too deep and you've failed the course ;)

As fills will be a problem at both places I'd suggest you come topped up

Looking forward to meeting up mate

Regards
Dave

Cheers Dave, reckon I can fix up two cam bands and a couple of D-rings as a temp measure for stage straps, don't like having to get LDS fills but my old club can't use its compressor while the firemen are out on strike.
You seem to have an idea of what's expected - d'you think I'll need a nitrox fill in the 7L for the Saturday? I've never used a 7L stage before so I don't fancy using new items in an assessment situation. I'd better try to get in touch with AH tomorrow
looking forward to meeting everyone and putting some faces to most of the names at last

You'll not need a stage Steve, we defo won't be down long enough to require stage or deco bottles....
