This of course assuming that the person doesn't have Home, Mum+Dad on their phone. Or, even trying the speed dial buttons.

I suppose it gets people using the same system tho.

The idea behind it is, the ice number would be the first number to be informed, not everyone would want an elderly parent who maybe lives alone, or a young sibling to be the first one contacted.

we were told that "chip and pin" was safe but .....
i like the dog-tag method for imparting emergency info as i can also list my known drug allergies.
still, ICE now also stored in phone !

We think this is a top idea - and the first we have heard of it (although we do live in Egypt so may be slightly behind the times).

In emergencies for sure will check phones and will let our mates know to do the same. Keep these little snippets coming you guys.
