have worked in law enforcement for a lot of years now and this does work, there is nothing worse than trying to find out peoples details and that of next of kin, but when its stored in the phone is easy. is also easy when the phone has been lost and found (if found by an honest person that is)

ICE is also good for chilling alcoholic beverages.....apparently.

I think this idea has been around for a while.
Some 2/3 years ago we issued ICE small plastic canisters ( like camera film canisters ) which Age Concern gave us to lots of elderly people living locally.
Most of them don't use mobiles. Inside was a slip of paper with their emergency contact numbers ( family, GP ) etc and this was filled in and the canister sealed and it had to be put in their FRIDGE .
The reasoning was everyone had a fridge of some sort and that is where the emergency services would check for it if they broke in and found someone hurt, ill or unconscious.
It has proved it's worth quite a few times since.

iPods and iPhones have programmes designed to alert someone who finds them of all you're ICE details.
aka Chimp 1 or Mavis...
Bump again as I realised today that I haven't got my ICE details in my new phone. That is now sorted.

Just browse the apps store for "ICE" there's a few options but the app called "ICE" itself is the one I use, I leave it sat on the main bar at the bottom next to Safari, Music and Settings, so who ever finds it doesn't have to go browsing through the menus.

iend of mine is a fireman , he tells me its common for houses to be burned to a cinder ,, and still have ice in the freezer bit of the fridge, may have something to do with it too. the plastic jar in the icebox not the phone , if you freeze it the screen breaks.
I use commas,,,,,,,,,,,,, in an artistic way!
