Up to my earoles in work and I have moved office, so everyone can see what I'm doing now, bugger!
<font color='#000080'>That's a shit Matt,

Looks like you have 3 options, &nbsp;

Either try to move your screen so they can't see it quite as well.

Point out that this is what you were doing when you were contracting for them and you don't see why you should change now you are permanant.

Spray mace in their face &nbsp;

Daz

Top class advice Daz, NOT.
1) Its not just they can 'see' what I'm doing I actually have to produce something now whereas before I could blag any old garbage out and they believed me.
2) They werent really too aware of what I was doing before, bit like a pilot so long as the system didnt crash they were happy, so I set up loads of batch jobs to monitor/correct stuff. Now I am actually writing production software and going to meetings etc. Yawn!
3) They might see that as gross misconduct.

It'll settle down soon and I can revert - hopefully. I dont get paid OT now, but I can take a day off in-lieu. Odd nobody could understand why I wanted to go 'staff', it all seemed perfectly understandable to me - more diving opportunities, what's hard to understand!

Matt
