Dear all,
As user of 2*4*300 tanks, I have encountered a slight problem. These are not huge tanks and getting a decent (~275 bar) fill is of some interest. It seems to me that a lot of places do not fill 300 bar but only 200 or 232. Ok, I am reasonably low on air consumption, but for deeper dives, it may be bit marginal. Shall I bite the bullet and get one of these majestically huge tanks such as a 10l or 12l 200-232 or have I only had bad luck at the fill stations? Also, is there a market for selling my loved ones or do I better export tham back to Sweden, where there is a good 300-bar market. People often give me funny looks at the dive spots (not necessarily because of my tanks)...

Narrr...you can't loose ou tanks now, it's your trademark  THere must be some decent air filler around your area that can fill them properly, have you tried the Yellow Pages? Maybe something a little more specialist than your LDS?

Anders, you've got me thinking of Liutenant Gruber in " 'Allo, 'allo " (" 'Emliga armén " in Sweden). He loved his "liddle tanks", too.

If you've got a grand or two to spare, you could get a Jetsam electric gas booster and fill to whatever pressure you like

Never had a problem with mine, other than at Go-Dive. They managed a measly 210 bar last time, and this time I took them out to the car, checked them and they were 260 hot. They filled again, and made me look at the gauge. This time.

Most of it is just pure laziness to be honest. If you take your time, a 300 fill really isn't hard at all. Rotate the fills, find a way around it, the longer they keep cutomers in the shop, the more likely we are to buy things. So fill the tanks slowly!

I do know a few people thinking about 300 bar 7s, so if you want to sell, PM me with your price and I'll see.

<font color='#000F22'>My LDS usually fills mine to about 340 bar and after they've cooled they'll read 310-320 on my guage.

Thank you all for your input! Perhaps I have only had bad luck... I do love my tanks and would be reluctant to sell them. To comment on the above: Yes they are part of my trade mark, Well I am at least not wearing shiny boots..., 2*7*300 is too unbalanced and back heavy for my taste, Sorry gal, 340, Why? The gas law is useless above 275. In real terms this means that there hardly anything to gain beyond this pressure as it is hardly more than pressure (i.e. virtually no gas addition).
