Cheer up Matt!

Only 1 person disagreed with you on the thread re the 16 year old which is pretty good going for Dnet!

Both sites are excellent, but for different reasons.  This place is fun, friendly and informative, but Dnet can be a little more, shall we say 'exciting' - fur and feathers flying in all directions.  There are certain posters on there (' I don't have to produce a coherent argument because I'm right...) who are best ignored, but there are others who can usually be relied upon to brighten up a dull day if someone rattles their cages.

I'd hate for YD to end up like DNet as I love its very different atmosphere, but at the same time I'd be sorry to lose the handbags at dawn on the dark side.

Matt, I note that a couple of the messages you deleted were on the 'can you get bent freediving?' thread.  I hope I didn't piss you off on that one.  The text of your messages is still within my replies - let me know if you'd like them deleted too.

Phil

Phil
no it wasnt you at all, I noticed that a few others eventually chipped in to let Adrian know had a minority view, nothing wrong with that generally, but we've both got kids (you & I) so we are on the same wavelength there (as were others).

The 'bent' one went a bit odd really, my original was badly worded due to a typo, but I have no problem with it still remaining in your reply. I just got fed up with it all over there really, especially after getting a mail from Louise, about a different reply I posted, but she later explained she was having a bad day too  so we kissed and made up.

I'll keep a lower profile over there and possibly here I think, from now on. I'll just keep my head under water for a while.

Regards
Matt

I post links to my forum on Divernet and have not been pulled up for it yet.  I love the bitchin' that goes on in Divernet, as it gives me a good laugh.  Y-D to me, is a more 'personal' forum where most of you meet up at organised dive trips.

Funny thing though, when I first posted on Divernet, I took some abuse because of my toilet humour from one guy in particular who posted similar elsewhere

Matt,  I can't work out how to use the Quote feature on this site, but just coming back on your 'we both have kids'.

I have a pet cat, but I definitely don't have a kid.

Not for another 7 weeks anyway (probably longer - the wife's never been on time for anything in her life).

I would be quite worried if I caught my cat in a chatroom though.

I did not mention any names!  Looks like you are having a bad day again Matt, as you did not need to register on my forum as 'rsole'
Lighten up.

Hey, KL does a good job  Mind you he did heavily moderate my last post to TH and it looked quite civilised afterwards, and did not start our usual argument. Trouble was i posted when P**t and can't remember what i said.
