Whale and Dolphin conservation society do something NOW and write a letter to the Japanese ambassador expressing your revulsion. The time to act is now before it is too late! It will only take a moment and if it saves some innocent creature, then that moment wont be a wasted one. PLEASE support these people in their attempts to save a resource that should be one of the most important things in our minds, after all it IS where we spend our spare time.

What a bunch of twats the Japs, Icelanders and all the others are!! When people needed to kill whales for meat and warmth, as Icelanders needed to do in bygone days you could understand the need to fish the sea for ANY source of sustenance, Those days are long gone, and in our molly coddled society, the only ones who could possibly be excused for still hunting and killing whales are IMHO the starving of Africa who are hundreds if not thousands of miles from the sea!

The so called civilised world should refuse to trade or otherwise engage with tossers who somehow believe that their cum potential will be enhanced by slicing off and grinding down a rhinos horn, or who believe they have &quot;arrived&quot; in life because they can afford to eat shark fin soup. Real sad bastards. And its not the poor, uneducated masses who feed this trade, they wouldnt be able to afford such luxuries.

We stand by and let our &quot;trading partners&quot; excuse the hunting of Minke whales as &quot;necessary for the furthering of scientific research&quot; Bollocks!

So John, my letter went off to the London embassy last night, just so infuriating that we have to be so polite about it.

Now what were the ambassadors movements for the next two weeks??!!!! Might have to dig some deep red ****t out!!!

I object to the tone used to me by the moderator on the BSAC forum that is why I have been banned from there now. This did not happen anywhere else because I was allowed to say my feelings and not get treated like a child having a tantrum. This subject is something I was disgusted by and that was reflected in my postings.

In other threads I have said what must be said on whale killing and in general the &quot;harvesting of the sea&quot; that to some is acceptable when it comes to &quot;dumb&quot; animals like fish and shrimp, but if they have a brain bigger than a finger nail then it's not acceptable.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I wouldn't say you are helping getting your point across by using your terms and language.

What gripped my shit was the term murderer,,,,,, thats every farmer , fisherman right down to the dear little old lady that grows carrots in her garden , and pulls them up and eats them before they die.

What a murderer of animals is................. FOX HUNTING and all the other cruel blood sports.

where was the word &quot;murderer&quot; used in this thread? I agree on the bloodsports thing, I would have less of a problem if the people who hunt foxes said that they enjoyed it instead of pretending to do it to control the fox population, at least they would be honest! I run over more foxes in my Truck that most hunts catch every week.
I dont think carrots are sentient Andy, although I do work with people less inteligent than your average zucchini

I have no problem with a farmer going out and blowing the brains out of every fox in his farm, I just find it a bit &quot;off&quot; that people are wanting to dress up and do it for fun.
