<font color='#000F22'>Was fortunate enough last night to be free and able to Attend a Lecture At Cardiff Museum organised by Cardiff BSAC, the format was two lectures.

The first lecture was by Doug Allen, the BBC cameraman who gave an overview of his time as both a diver and camerman. Some spectacular shots, and why you'd want to be 50 foot from a polar bear I'll never now.

The second lecture was by Innes McCartney, I'm sure some of you have seen his lectures before, absolutely inthrawling lecture on the search for the Operation Deadlight submarines scuttled after the end of WW2. The footage and shots were spectacular and the viz excellent. The size of some of the subs particuarly the type 9, was awesome.

He went onto say that he has one place on his upcoming expedition. Must get my Trimix ticket sometime nextyear.

If any of you get a chance to see such a lecture I'd thorougly recomment it.

Gareth Davies
