I'm changing jobs at the end of the year and it looks like I'll have about five days to kill between. So I'm hoping to get some diving in! Not the best time of year I know but any suggestions as to where is likely to have almost guaranteed and reasonable diving at this time of year?

Anywhere in Europe is out due to visa probs (I'm on a South African passport).

I was wondering about the Farnes/St Abbs/Cornwall/Oban? Scapa any good this time of year?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Dates would be something like 1st - 7th latest.

Hi Spike

Not the best time of year, in fact probably the worst. St Abbs and the Farnes can be just about ruled out and I would think the west coast of Scotland around the islands off Oban will be the safest bet. Of course you could get a flight to Phuket, fantastic time of year, bit longer trip though, but wow, that's the place to go.

Cheers Ron
