| There is always Chris Holden's book [I wish I got commission], I will have a look this evening, but I think there is a shore dive from there. The book is worth getting anyway. David.

| Just in case the book doesn't get there in time , Chris Holden says dive off Mochras Poin, O.S. Ref. SH 550 261. Lat. 52' 48.750 Long. 004'09.080W. This is a very shallow dive, dive around HW slack and use a SMB, Park on the cliff top [I think it is a cliff in name rather than nature] as close as possible to where the rocky beach changes to flat sand. If you get up to the Llyn there are some people offering boat dives, It might be worth trying:- Shearwater Diving, www.shearwater.info tel. 01758 740899 07815 717242. There isn't much shore diving on the southern shore of the Llyn but some on the North. PM if I can do more to help. Thanks for the green, I really wasn't fishing though. [Oops, mentioned fishing, lol] David.

| Thanks for the info David and the book arrived this morning along with a free copy of Dive ... great service from BSAC book shop Only had a quick skim through but it was enough to get me all excited about me hols again After chatting to a non-diving friend last night who said the very idea of breathing under water made him gag I got him to wear a mask and breathe from my regs on the settee .. what a picture. He loved it. As I've now made a personal ambition to get him diving I'm already planning stage two. A snorkle in the bath I perhaps?
