Well the first step on the road to a cure is admission of the problems so here, my good friends on YD I bare my soul to you and admit my darkest secret.

It all started harmlessly enough, we wanted a trimix ticket to dive the classic deep med wrecks in the South of France. A good time to do this was while living in Milan - we could dive in the lake... Little did I know the slippery slope upon which I had started....

The bastard Italians wanted this, that and the other pre-requisite, one of which they dropped on us three quarters of the way through the course.

A two week course lasted about 8 months and we ended up with four tickets...

At last. Now to the wrecks. Bastard French - IANTD huh? you can't use that here....

So when we moved here the obvious thing was to do the French crossover. The FFESSM level 3 was available at a school in Liege so we signed up.

Another ticket.

But there is no sea here. So I have succumbed to temptation and we are going cave diving. And so... another bloody course, this time with the IANTD and PADI cavern tickets....

FFS 7 tickets in two and a half years.........!!!!!!!!!!!!! More than in the last 20 years.

The shame.

Anyway thank you for listening - I feel better now with this off my chest.
