How do you go descend ?

Like most, feet down for a metre or 2, depending how well I'm managing to sink, then horizontally. Gradually adding air to dry suit with the odd wiggle about to let it travel

Have had to duck dive a few times in the past but less so with the wing, unless the surface it particularly unfriendly and I just wanna get down and relax

Always a joy to actually see something, and a buddy, on arrival

How do I descend... Usually downwards.

Often some obtuse comment starts it and I degenerate from there!
Alcohol usually plays a part!

Ahhhhh, sorry, I don't think you are thinking along the right lines ........... you have to understand I have a very simple and usually crude sense of humour. In my defence I do have good enough manners to apologise to anyone who is offended by my innanities and suggest they put me on their ignore list.

I am no longer referring to air and drysuits .............. perhaps you ought to try thinking outside the box ................. well ........... actually ............. more inside the box.

I start descending backwards and feet down, if I think about it. This stems from face to face with a buddy on the surface, signal to descend. Begin descent still looking at them and as I am leading this leads me to be on my back slightly.

At about 3m I givent eh ok and flip to my front - horizontal, or slightly head down, depending on how fast I want to descend, and whether it is a free descent, or a fin down a shotline.

Well, as you're being honest so will I ................... sadly nothing more interesting than a slight leak from my drysuit for some months now
