| LONDON FESTIVAL OF DIVING - 3rd December Just a post to let you know about the London Festival of Diving being organised by the BSAC London Region. There's a social event on Saturday 2nd December (after the DOC) and then the Festival itself on the 3rd of December. Tickets are £6 (or £5 if you're a member of a London BSAC club) Things going on at the festival include: * Kit galore: Stands, prize draws, and a bring-and-buy sale * Underwater photography / videography workshops * BSAC Membership session - how to attract and retain new members * Instructor workshop - Discuss experiences and share hints and tips * Decompression - workshop on the latest practice. Speakers include: * Tim Ecott (author Neutral Buoyancy) * Teresa Telus (expedition diver, Britannic) * Kevin Pickering (www.shipwreckfilms.uk) * Mark Ellyatt (depth records, HMS Victoria) * Martyn Farr (cave diver and author) There are more details on the London Region's Newsletter HERE Or you can wander along to see Louise Trewavas (world record holder for underwater ironing) at the Dive Show on stand 1641. Or you can email / PM me. Although this is being organised by the BSAC London Region, this is ny no means a BSAC only event - all are welcome. Janos

| Good news! You can now buy your ticket online through the BSAC London's website, or by text from your phone. I've had a chat with the guys who are organising this and if you pay by phone then it's a flat rate of £5.00 wherever you are in the country. Details on how to pay by phone are here: London Divers If you want to pay by Paypal, then the links you need are: Saturday Meal (£27) SDC Booking Sunday - Festival of Diving Only (£5) SDC Booking Both the Social and the Festival of Diving (Bargain price of £30) SDC Booking Oh, and we've got a few more speakers coming now: In addition to: * Tim Ecott * Teresa Tellus * Kevin Pickering * Martyn Farr * Mark Ellyat We also have Rick Stanton, a "top cave diving bloke" talking about his exploits and also Phil Clifton (Leader of the BSAC Instructor Training Group) will be running a Instructor Workshop. Hmmm. Do you think we could get Martyn Farr and Rick Stanton to have a towel whipping competition to see who is the better cave diver? Janos
