Information on SADS

Hi,

Looking to find out more about the joint services qualification SADS, as I might be doing it next year, not for the military but for the Army Cadet Force, so struggling to get info on it. My Cadet county want to set up diving, snorkelling, try dives etc and need someone SADS qualified, Our TSA isn't a stronger enough diver to do it so they are looking at me doing.

Anyone got anymore information on whats included in the course, tried google but couldn't find out much.

Background on me is;

I am a BSAC Advanced Diver, Advanced Nitrox, OWI, all the rescue SDC's and all the seamanship except outboard maintance. Was wondering what I need to practice and read up on. Also heavily medic/EMT trained and RLSS trained.

I am a UK diver, normal kit wing, 2x 12lt drysuit etc.

Any advice gratefully recieved, all i know is its hard course

reply in thread or PM me please

Hi,

PM me and I'll supply you with as much info as you can handle. I'm an ex training officer of a combined services club/branch.

One thing you should be up on, is your leadership skills both in and out of the water.

Steve
