I guess its either the Science park/ St John' innovation centre which are on the outskirts of town or on the other end by the town centre. Good places to be.

Keep us posted on your progress and we'll help get you settled

Brilliant! A beer-fuelled welcoming committee. Looking forward to it. I'd quite like to pick your brains about somewhere to live - I'll spam you with PMs nearer Easter.
Am off to do some work now so I leave the current job with the good references I need to get me to Cambridge in the first place

Nah, they being sensible not moving. Why move to the sea, when the sea can come to you? Give it a few years, and (according to the environmentalist types) global warming will soon make Cambridge into a coastal town!

Only if you are a snail would it take that long from Cambs. I get down to swanage in 5 hours from burnley.

thats about right actually.

the M25 is the nightmare part of any of my journeys to and from the south coast from Brighton to Cornwall

from the M3/M25 Jcn it can take 2 hours to east london/M11 junction, at best its an hour Cambridge is about 1-1.5 hours from the M25/M11 Jcn and portland is 2 hours from M25/M3. even using the A303/A350 route still involves the hell that is the counrties largst car park.
It has been known for me to get from Portland to the M25 quicker than it takes to go round the M25.

There is no better way on the M25 clock or anti clock its the same distance and through the centre is just a no no

If you fancy diving the Norfolk / Suffolk coast just head east. First give Dave a call at www.diverswreckquisities, based in Newmarket (on the way). You’ll be surprised just how good the diving is, more wrecks than you can throw a stick at, max depth 30-35m at high tide. I also believe the club at www.learnscuba will have a very nice hard boat running from Lowestoft this summer, mail or phone Andy.

Cheers
Graham

Cam you edit your links so that they work. I'd be interested in some of that this summer.

Cheers

These should hopefully work, Divers Wreckquisites & Learn Scuba | PADI diver training, Diving equipment sales & servicing, underwater holidays & dive club for Norfolk & Suffolk, UK Dave (Thetford not Newmarket) has a large rib with inboard and is allegedly going to be let loose with a landing craft when it’s not being used for other commercial work.
