Isle of Man Marine Reserves
Hi Everyone,

I would respectfully ask you all to take the time to look at and sign the petition below.


Isle of Man Marine Reserves Petition

I am beginning a campaign to encourage the Isle of Man Government to promote turning a part of our coastline into Marine no take areas, like the Lundy Island project.

People within the government has been supportive, and now I need to start showing the support of the general public.

Please sign up, and if possible forward the petition to anyone who you think would also be in support.

This could be a real chance to get something done, and unlike the UK Government I want it to succeed.

thanks Andy,

have signed up today and will forward to a bunch of uni mates from when I studied at Port Erin Marine Lab.

Saw something with Andy Brand from the Marine Lab doing work with the fisheries dept on the no take zones and the difference it made to the areas that get scoured clean during scallop trawling.

This has a real chance of happening if we can just show the local government that it will bring people to the Isle of Man.
