| Mercedes vito van with bench seat in the back. Can fit 4 divers and enough kit for a weeks cave diving in France (8 twinsets, shitload of stages & 3 J's), and still enough room for a couple of cases of duty free on the way home! Quote:

| 130PS Diesel Volkwagen Passat Estate. Good on Fuel but with a little umph if you need it. Plus lots of space, a tow bar and a roof rack. |

| Mondeo ST220 estate - nice car for cruising about in with plenty of poke plus a great sized boot for all the baby stuff (and boy do you need some space for that I've even managed to put the dive kit in a couple of times ...it's not that great for fuel efficiency tho ![]() |

| Toyota Yaris in DIR regulation black! Easily holds two lots of drysuited diver's kit, plus extras like first aid and O2. Have also had my kit and portable compressor, and on a separate occasion 3 divers + all their kit. With a custom-made boot liner i have no worries about throwing wet kit in the back. Have gotten 62mpg out of it (once)... Pity it can't tow a boat though |

| 1979 VW T2 van. All the comfort of an old park bench, the acceleration of a noisy tortoise, gearbox designed by a random number generator and the fuel ecomony of a sieve. Plus, the added excitement of will it just stop working at anytime? But, Loads of room, and "entertaining" to drive. to paraphrase JFK, "We drive it not because it is easy but because it is hard".
