Littlehampton or Dover. The best diving I have ever done has been out of these two harbors.

Id rather dive a decent wreck off Littlehampton than dive the Red Sea.

However I wouldn't mind giving the Galapagos a whirl. I have booked Mexico Cave diving for 2007 which is gutting as an opportunity to dive the Jutland wrecks has just arisen and i cant do both

porthkerris/falmouth/manacles. you can poke your foreign destinations, this extreme south west tip of cornwall has so much to do and is different everytime. any one of the dive sites in that area is great. one of the best dives I had was on the Hera which is about 18m to the seabed, superb viz very little current and awesome swim throughs.

OK I have been rumbled that i am jealous of those who can do the abroad trips.

Ginnie Springs. 100 caves in one - you could do 1,000 dives in there and see something different on every dive, learn the cave better, see how it changes with reductions in flow, find tiny fossils of sea creatures from 1,000s of years ago - to huge whale bones high up in the walls.

I've done about 30 dives in there now - and have barely scratched the surface of the challenges that the system offers and the diversity on display there . Can't wait to go back.
