[EDIT] - f*ckup now fixed by the BBC web boffins. What a shame - it was quite amusing whilst it lasted... lol

Lightbulb

I bet if they were to cover it in thin sheets/slabs of some nice looking stone, like they do with new buildings, people would change their minds. Its only because its concerite grey that people are voting to have it demolished. It looks quite striking.

Que??

And there I was thinking you were commenting on the apalling journalistic standards in the BBC these days. The Panarama programme on WIFI had me screaming at the telly for it's utter ignorance and biased reporting, sloppy science, and generally tabloid/ daily mail approach.

Lord Rieth must be spinning in his grave.

Exclamation

Oh come on now people, surely everyone knows Journos only write what sells newspapers and air time. Its got abolutley nothing to do with being factually correct, helping or informing the general public.

Just look at the landside story in Central america several years ago. The News Companies hired all available helicopters to report on a child trapped in rising flood water, to 'tell the world' the emergency services could not get to her to save her (cos all the available helicopters were hired out..... )
