| I have used nail varnish remover and a cotton wool pad or piece of kitchen roll to remove permenant marker from the side of cylinders, it may work on the reel and dsmb. Tim

| If it's permanent marker and the SMB is made of any type of woven material (as the Buddy ones are), you'll never get it all off. Best thing you can do is try to cover it up. Use some of the SMB stickers that Simon has already mentioned. They're very good. |

| Methylated spirits is my first-attempt solvent of choice. It works on permanent board markers and similar. I'd only go to acetone, then petrol once that's failed, as they often disfigure plastics.
