What about something similar to the 'baby on board' car signs with the sticky plunger thingie on, that can be taken off when not at dive sites?

I'd have one of those! (Not many people would see mine though )

I would suggest one with the blue YD logo, and possibly avatar/name like Dave Crampton's idea, but no web address or Yorkshire Divers title, so that those who are concerned about advertising the kit in the car can have one.
Also, depending on cost, perhaps you could do a version which is magnetic, then you could just put it on the car when you are going diving, which might suit some people better.
Whichever way was chosen would probably have to be the only version available, due to quantities you would need to have made.

If someone would be willing to do the designing of the sticker, then I would be happy to sort out the arrangements for getting them, collecting payments in from people and despatching them out, I'm just completely useless at designing anything on the computer.

I think we need to get one designed, get a quote for say 100 to be made, and then see how many want it. We can always up the quantity if more people want one once they see the final design ?
Or run a competition and vote for the one we like best
