Wouldn't the KISS principle be useful to employ here?

To satisfy everyone, just a simple square of vinyl with the YD part of the logo on it and no other text. The logo could always be displayed where the rear could be seen from another window and the username of the YDer written there if desirable?

Gas symbols can be bought separately (nice idea though!) and with no text then it's not a magnet to slippery fingered types.

I'm sure it's not beyond us to enquire on the ownership of the car if the symbol is seen...

Just my thoughts after reading the threads...

I think I would have to concur with Dave on this one.

Just the YD symbol. Means nothing to the local car thief but speaks volumes to us lot!
