Evidently there's been a huge handbags drawn sh1t-fight on here whilst I was sleeping over here in GMT+10hrs land. To save me having to wade through it all, could someone enlighten me with which threads or forums we are talking about so I can catch up with The Treachery?

Ahhhh.....I had heard that Dotty was the place all the top divers went..... but putting the p*ss taking and patronising BS to one side if I may, and be serious for a bit.....

I actually don't know anything about you....should I? All I know is that you seemingly are for ever having a pop at people who enjoy their diving by describing it as "not proper".....and you are not alone. A lot of people like to look down on the diving done by others but it beats me why. What do you consider to be "proper" diving.

If your passion is for wrecks and wreck research do you ever feel like sharing that passion with others? ... YD would be all the richer for stuff like that.

Gareth

P.S Mal if you want to come and do some proper diving as you put it and put that twinset to good use feel free to PM me or Richard Green, as we have 1 space on a weeks trip out in Ireland in 2 weeks time doing some undived's. You may find doing the bottom of places like dotty will stand you in good shape for the dives

If not stick to stoney or vobster, as the docs says dotty is a bit deep.

How about doing the diving you want to do, and letting others do the diving they want to do without the macho willy waving bullshit that goes on.

Totally agree. Now I'm quite happy to push my comfort zone, BUT at my pace. Not because someone says I have to, as has been suggested to me in the past. This was met with a swift

Gareth,

I don't think it's a phrase I use. Darren used it and I was trying to understand what he meant by it.

Mal

P.S. Thanks for the invite but I have other plans at the moment.
