| Probably easiest thing is to read the link: Mysterious rock - BSAC Scuba Diving Forums Basically, I found a rock off the Farnes - old / grid pattern. Archaeologist from Newcastle dives the sites and we lift the rock after it is seen in situ. "Mysterious rock" is transported to Museum of Antiquities in Newcastle. Experts view the rock but can't conclude what / when etc.. Next step is to get a team together (preferably from a club in the area?) and survey the location (diving is between 5m and 20m) most of the interesting stuff is likely to be <10m. The "mysterious rock " was found in 6m. Relaxed observant divers needed. If anyone is interested then CONTACT the archaelogist Glyn Goodrick via his email g.t.goodrick@newcastle.ac.uk Safe diving, Ben "seal diver" Last edited by Seal diver : 20-07-07 at 05:29 PM. |
