Charing batteries on holiday

When I go abroad I am unable to get my battery chargers to work. This only happens with chargers that have the workings etc as part of the plug.

I need to be able to re-charge AA batteries. Is there a solution?

In Bonaire last year the dive centre had something that was able to overcome this problem.

Buy a couple of spare batteries. Leave the old set in something like this to charge during the day, and swap them over l: Maplin > Universal Solar-Powered Battery Charger

I have European lamps with integrated plug/chargers like the ones you have only EU model. When in the UK these don't fit in your wacky UK-only wonderworld crazy electrics...

To overcome this buy a short, cheap trailing extension lead and fit a plug of the required type.

I have a 3 gang on 2m with EU plug and same with UK plug. (need 3 gang due to size of chargers). So I can plug in and charge in Europe and or UK.

The US is still in the dark ages and has the wrong voltage so not a chance...
