| Buy a couple of spare batteries. Leave the old set in something like this to charge during the day, and swap them over l: Maplin > Universal Solar-Powered Battery Charger

| I have European lamps with integrated plug/chargers like the ones you have only EU model. When in the UK these don't fit in your wacky UK-only wonderworld crazy electrics... To overcome this buy a short, cheap trailing extension lead and fit a plug of the required type. I have a 3 gang on 2m with EU plug and same with UK plug. (need 3 gang due to size of chargers). So I can plug in and charge in Europe and or UK. The US is still in the dark ages and has the wrong voltage so not a chance... Chris
