Scuba hides - seen any yet?

I just came across something called Scuba Hides on ebay and then the main Scuba hides website.

I don't somehow believe that salt water won't get behind the sleeve and accelerate corrosion...I may be wrong though

And no, I don't want one...just never seen them before!

They're hardly likely to say any different I agree...but it means you'd have no problems claiming if they did pit your cylinder.

Mmmm, looks like a glorified version of heat shrink for cylinders.
Personally I wouldn't touch them, due to the very 'sneaky' way salt water has a way getting into everything. Especially when submerged for long periods of time, then how do you rinse it away without cutting the 'shrink'.

Yup.... LDS got one done, looks great, but it's paint on a cylinder, and costs quite a bit. So you can tell how it's going to end up!
