My other half (who I only see at weekends) has been really understanding for the last 3 as in her words "the season will end soon and you need to get as much in as you can" I haven't told her I'm hoping to dive right through the winter this year... yet

We're a bit the other way around, I'm in the sea 3-4 days/week and sometimes can't be assed to do an evening dive.
However, like nights out, some of the best dives are the ones that you don't spend ages looking forward to.

We will also be diving throught the winter
