| We did not use Anti-Fouling but probably will do next year. Best to get it out once a month or so and give it some TLC. Make sure members know that some post dive maintenance is part of the dive day and maybe have a checklist of pre and post dive checks and maintenance. Getting a cover knocked up for the consul is a good idea, i can get you a contact for this if you want.

You will need to put a key in to the hull then put at least 2 coats of primer on to the hull then at least 2 / 3 coats of a good hard wearing anti foul, on my previous boat i used the interspeed extra strong in BLACK as i found this was the best stuff to use as i left her in all year. With the new boat i decided to use copper proof the reason for this i DO NOT HAVE TO ANTI FOUL FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS and it also very expensive to start with but in the long turm it save me MONEY Have you checked up with DOVER MARINA if there is a birth available next year? If you need any further advise on this please do not hesitate to give me a call John

| Our boats live in the water and get pulled for a scrub at least once a year. A jet washer, borrowed, is the trick. Boats in the water mean we do dive-on-demand. Evening dives in the summer, afternoon dives for shift workers and the self employed, early mornings to suit the tide and get back at dusk or in the night if enough people want to go. Boats on trailers in sheds will probably last far longer than ours but that's not the sort of diving club we want to be. |
