Open water

Oh my god! Just watched the first 22 mins of this film and couldn't watch any more between the cringing and the laughing.
For those that have seen it, that obnoxious bloke that forgot his mask would have been told that he was going to be left behind if he went within 20 metres of the water.....
Open water has to be a PADI training video. Bad, bad, bad and cheesy! But also delievers the message. Good thing that.

Yeah, watched that a while ago, wasn't massively impressed at all!!!! How could they have known what went on (with it being a 'true story' and all) as they both karked it?

I do agree that it does show the necessity for proper head counts and the like, especially off shore.

There must be better diving based films out there, anyone have any reccommendations?

Cheers, Ben.

They are the only divers who are lost at sea that manage to change their first stages several times.

Time to dive.

A welcome return??

I've just heard that the bloke who starred in open water has just resurfaced (groan) in Hartlepool claiming it wasn't a diving incident but a different kind of water sport he had diffuculty with.

I think the film is based on "real events" which is a bit different to a true story

You know the film is gonna be cack when the actress is full frontal in the first 10 mins (It does not happen again but you watch just in case )

I was quite happy with what happened to the couple ..... though a gun would have got it over and done with quicker and I'd have saved 90mins of my life
