Online shop for V12's (or actual shop in Ireland?)

Hi,

I've just booked a trip for the Red Sea leaving next Friday. My dive gear is currently being sent from Australia and I've just found out that it probably won't get here in time as it has been held up in customs in Australia.

I'm sure I can make do with a rental regs & BC (although after my BP&W it's going to seem strange), but I won't be able to do without my Oceanic V12's. Does anyone know of on an online shop in the UK that has V12's in stock. Even better would be anyone knows of a shop in Ireland that has V12's in stock.

The only other thing I need to worry about then is what I'm going to do about my perscription mask...looks like I'll be wearing contacts for the week (which I don't like).

Thanks,
mel.b

Halcyon dealers now have a set of rental gear available. So if you want to hire a wing and BP and take it with you, you can.

Sorry I don't know about the regs.

Er... not *all* Halcyon dealers, Fiona. The rental deal is something that is available to them but they don't have to take it up. I imagine Underwater Explorers down in Portland will offer the deal, however. To be honest, though, I'd be more inclined to just rent a BCD out in Egypt - it'll be one less thing to find space for in your luggage!

Mine has it in stock, that's how I know its available.

Choice between rental in UK or some BC in Egypt I know which I would go for

Sillycar - -thankyou for the link to Sunderland Scuba centre...you are a life saver

Luggage space really isn't an issue...especially as I won't have my camera system with me BP & wing don't take up much room and I won't need many clothes for the week. I'm diving with oonas divers at Marsa Shagra - does anyone know what the rental gear is like? Otherwise I will be in London on Thursday so if anyone knows a Halycon dealer close by there who rents out BP & W's that is a possibility, as is Roger's very kind offer if I get to Dublin.

Thanks heaps,
Mel.b
