Hard Hat and Compression tank "dives"

Are these things any good?

And what's involved with the hard hat dive? Is it donning a full suit? Cos being a fat knacker would make that a problem Actually fitting my fat head in a hard hat might be an issue

Yes they're good.

Yes you will need to don a full suit (different sizes provided). Then hard hat = either siebe gorman (brass trad) or kirby morgan (fibre glass modern N sea).

Chamber dive is dry in a........ chamber - wear what you like... well clothes anyway (NB hot during descent - compression, cold and raining during ascent - expansion.......you are warned)

Cheers, Paul

For the chamber dive, you have to wear full scuba gear, otherwise the pressure doesn't simulate correctly because of the buoyancy issues in the suit.

Woz and I are the king of Hijackers. It's just that we've not done it recently.

The Hard Hat and Chamber days are run by Steve Fila at the Diver Training College, Appleton Roebuck in York (about 1 mile from where I'm sitting right now )

You can see my review of the one that Leigh was on here.

You need to get a group of up to 24 people - Steve provides Lunch in with the cost.

If you want to book or speak further to them, their number is 01904 744424.
