Question YD Post Help Required

Fishyheid was the victorious winner of Ratcliffe's RNLI draw to win a cylinder.

There's only one.....itsy bitsy teenie weenie issue.

The cylinder is in my garage in Weymouth and Fishyeid is in Scotland. I know this is a long shot.......but........we'd really appreciate anyone's help to get it to its' new owner.

I am currently stuck to and froing between Weymouth and Christchurch but at some point between 12th and 22nd Jan (depending on work) I will be heading to Heathrow. I can stop off anywhere on the M3. Anywhere on the M25 between M3 and M4. And anywhere on the M4 from Reading to Heathrow.

So guys......can you work your magic and propose where you could pick up from and drop off to and when?

It's a long shot but YD is a fairly amazing place.

Ian, I'm in Weymouth on the 12th. I can bring it back with me to Reading. Then it can probably continue on up to Northampton on the 13th?

Can someone collect it fairly promptly from that area to take it the next stage?

Alternatively, I'm in the North East mid Feb for a few days. (Scubee may be there earlier, so I can still bring it back to Reading - and then again if someone can take it the next leg?

if there is someone heading north from the Stoney gig, I can get it from Reading to Stoney.

Just a thought.... I am in (I think) Ferndown on Thursday next week. If we can plan the next leg, I can get it while i am down there.

The only thing about that is that I'm not back from Weymouth until the Sunday so I can't get it to Reading until Sunday afternoon. ScubaSue will be heading from my house back to Nottingham area on the Sunday afternoon?? (sorry bird, offering your postal services without asking you!!! )

Funnily enough, me too

I can get it up to Nottingham, but will have to get rid of it pronto as I depart these shores again on 2 February, so it will need to be gone from here by 31 January.

Logically, the Stoney gig would be a good way point, so if we can get it this far before then, i am happy to take it up. Looking at the list, there are a few northerners who might have room for a teensy cylinder in their divemobiles!

Whereabouts in Scotland does fishyheid live? i am going to Scapa in June... or is that too long to wait?
